New Quests have been added!

For those of you who have been taking part in the 'Make Your House A Home' questline found in the Pandrean Library, there have been two new quests added to the questline including a final quest that turns into a repeatable! This repeatable quest has unique rewards based on whether you go for the Standard or the Enhanced rewards!

There will also be some new quests coming along shortly, so keep your eyes peeled.

Affinity Faire update now live!

We are so excited to announce affinity faire is now live across the kiamaras.com site!

First and foremost we'd like to apologise for the 4-day wait getting the update ready, we have had a lot of stuff to deal with IRL, and pushing the update out was a secondary priority. But with that extra time, it has allowed us to polish the update to a point we are happy with.

The first major update is the 4 new Affinity Faire prompts available to you right now!

Further to these updates, the USD shop is now live on kiamaras.com. Long gone are the days of slow, back and forth transactions on DeviantART. You can now buy Shards directly from the site here, with discounts available for bulk purchases:

Head over to the marketplace to spend your newfound shards at the Shard Bazaar where you'll find a variety of rotating stock!
Alternatively, you can spend hard-earned credits at the General Store which will share the majority of its stock with the Shard Bazaar!

Lastly, we have the announcement of the Kiamaras ARPG Patreon. With this, you will be able to subscribe and earn monthly rewards, including extra shards, Discord roles, live streams, and free art!

Jobs will be small, easily repeatable quests you can do over and over to earn currency and/or items.

Trait and Discord Updates

Trait Guide Update

The new updated Trait Guide is available for everyone to view. This has all updated rarities along with new images to make them clearer. You can click each image to be taken directly to the trait's information page as well!

Feline and Canine ear types are being removed. - We felt that this was necessary due to being able to achieve these types of ears using other traits of the same rarity, so we have decided to remove the trait. All Kiamaras that currently have the trait will have their rarities changed accordingly, with most becoming UC in either length or type instead. Those that do have a rarity drop because of this will have the trait reimbursed as an UC Stone in their inventories.
Alternate Forms are having an overhaul - We felt that due to the current climate of traits in Kiamaras, all alternate forms have rarities unlocked. This means you can have an alternate form with any type of traits added to it. Any traits that the Alt form may have will not pass on to offspring, only the chance of offspring obtaining an alt form. These alt forms will also receive a buff just like powers will in Phase 3. Additionally, after February 8th you will not be able to change a L trait on your Kiamara into an Alt form, nor use a Legendary Stone/MYO to obtain an alternate form. There will be other ways of obtaining them in the future.

Revamp Overhaul and Update

We will be undergoing a massive overhaul of the Revamp system starting on the 9th of February which will change how Revamps are done and what is/isn't allowed. This is to ensure any trait items we have introduced do not become obsolete and game-breaking. This means if you plan on revamping your Kiamaras, you have until the 9th of February to do so before we apply the rework of the revamp system. This includes; moving traits around, changing marking colours, adding trait stones for things such as an Alternate Form, etc. If you do not feel you can meet this deadline, to keep a paper trail, you may post your plans on the MYO Approval Journal on DeviantART. Before the 9th of February.

Website Changes

We have also implemented a 'My Pets' section under the 'Journal' to see all the pets you have in your inventory.

We have fixed the doubling of the 'currency' tab in the Almanac.

We have added the trait guide under ''Guides'' for easy access.

Daily Solarian Facts and Gossip! - It seems Serah has decided to keep you all in the know about happenings on Solaria with a new interesting tid- bit each day! From facts about your favourite friend-shape robot Gus, to the history of the world, she's here to give you some insider knowledge about the world you've found yourself in. These will be posted in ARPG News. To get notified, assign the 'Subscribed Solarian' role in Role Requests.

Polls - We will now be running weekly polls to get input on the world of Solaria and what you guys would like to see us work on next whilst we also tackle maintenance and general updating! This is to put priority on the things the community would like more clarification on, and it gives us a good idea on what you'd like to see more of - it's a win-win! This will also include things such as naming places, new companion types, new flora and fauna, deciding what species we go into more depth of, and also learning more about the Inturos! These will be posted in ARPG News channel.

Staff Changes

Whilst this may be last, it does not mean it is the least important.

Unfortunately, due to real-life commitments, we have said goodbye to Apricus as one of our archivists. They will still be about in the community, but I would like you all to join in with me thanking them for all their hard work and dedication to the species!

You may have also noticed as well, but we also have a new archivist! Please welcome Gingy-the-redpanda! They will be taking care of the Nursery part of the masterlist!

New Dawn 2022 has come to a close!

New dawn 2022 officially over

Whewwweeey! It has been a mighty fun ride getting this event in motion and we hope you've all had a great time.
All remaining prompts will be looked at in the next 24 hours and the shop will be open for the next 72 hours for you to spend your Cookies!

The Mythical Stone giveaway has also come to a close and will be rolled in the next 24 hours, so keep an eye out for that.

Gus has also got a special gift for all the Kiamaras that have helped him find his cookies - go check out his shop to see!

New dawn 2022 ending in 24 hours!

Howdy folks, this is your 24-hour reminder that the New Dawn 2022 Quests will be disappearing in one day.
The Sunrise Ticket Booth will close 72 hours after the event has ended. So make sure to spend your sun cookies!

This also means the Mythical Stone Giveaway will be ending. And will be drawn a few hours after the event ends!
