A Baking Rat

Rainier lounged on her couch stretched out enjoying her day of rest after a long journey of disappointment. She was beginning to doze off as she felt movement on her stomach, looking down she spotted her new roommate a currently unnamed rat. She gently gave the critter some head scritches before returning to her peaceful state.

Her relaxation didn't last long before her front door slammed open causing the Kiamara to bolt up quickly grabbing the rat before she potentially got sent across the room.

"What the..." Rainier didn't get to finish her sentence before she was greeted with loud and panicked noises.

"GUS GUSGUUUUUUSGUUUuuuUUUUUSSSS," came the robot's voice as it barged into the moody Kiamara's home trying to convey that he had run out of cookies and needed more.

"What do you want me to do about this dude?" Rainier demanded sending a glare at the uninvited robot.

"Gusgusgus?" He offered as a solution as if the Kiamara would understand him.

"You know? I can't...." she started to tell off the robot when movement in her kitchen caught her eye, "What are you doing in there friend?"

The Rat friend returned some cheerful squeaks as they rummaged around in the kitchen cupboards searching for things that Rainier couldn't piece together just yet.

The Kiamara made their way into the kitchen just in time to catch a bowl as it fell out of a cabinet with the rat soon leaping out from behind it onto the counter. Once happy with all of her ingredients the rat friend looked up at Rainier quite pleased with herself and gave some more squeaks before running to the oven to turn it on.

"Look little dude, I'd love to help but I don't know how to bake, let alone cook for myself," Rainier tried to reason with the rat who gave a loud huff and Rainier could have sworn she received a small rodent eye roll.

Gus slowly made his way over to watch as well quietly entertained by the scene.

Rainier watched in amazement as her new roommate made quick work of slapping together some Sun cookies for Gus, after washing her little paws of course. After about an hour the two roommates were seeing Gus out of their home yet again with a bundle of freshly baked Sun Cookies.
