Ancient Lost Treasure

Rainier slid through the small cave entrance, quickly she whipped the map out of her backpack wanting to ensure she had found the right cave. The tales of the secret treasures hidden deep within this trap filled cave was enough to make her heart race at the thought of finding them.

No one had been able to figure out the location of the entrance from the tall tales passed down through generations of this pirates hidden treasure. Rainier without thinking quickly made her way ahead barely having enough time to react to the first trap that sent arrows flying in front of her.

Carefully she made her way forward keeping a closer eye on the floor and walls to spot the traps and their triggers to ensure she made it through the cave with all of her limbs and no new scars.

It took the Kiamara an hour or so to cautiously but swiftly make her way to the heart of the cave, seeing a small pedestal with a treasure chest sitting atop it.

Gleefully Rainier nearly danced her way to the chest and flung the lid open excited to see what treasures the ancestors had left for her reward. Her jaw dropped at the sight of her reward.

"Really Gus?" She gasps, "Sun Cookies?"

Begrudgingly she carries the chest with her out of the cave not as eager as when she entered mentally preparing herself for her journey back to civilization to return Gus his damn cookies.
