Kn-582: Katherine

Suffering from recurrent transient blindness since birth, her vision is very flighty. She sees weakly on good days, able to make out vague shapes and forms, and others she may be reduced to total blindness for hours. This makes it hard for her to adjust either way and thus she struggles greatly with many things. She tries to stay lighthearted, and like her mother is terribly kind, often putting other's wellbeing in front of her own. 

She is fragile, but earnest, and always appreciates the little things that mean a lot in her life. She's convinced herself that if her vision will someday leave her entirely, she will at least let it go having seen more of the world than her father, who is also blind. 

She has the unfortunate tendency to be manipulated by others easily because she is unable to understand how or why they would hurt her. She assists her mate/partner Eimaki in mathematical equations. She isn't the best at math herself, but she will bring her all necessary research and information to assist. She also often helps her family in their scientific projects as just an idea bouncing-board or bringing them supplies needed, which they're grateful for. By keeping her with them in their large home in the rural woods, she's become isolated in a place with people who care and can keep her safe, visited only by her family, who still support her endlessly.
