Kn-1668: Kalaya

Kalaya is named after the Kalayaan Tree, also known as the "Tree of Freedom", which is essentially what she represents as the leader (queen) of the bird tribe. The bird tribe, unlike the fish kids, are very strict on bird heritage, and so they tend to form stronger familial bonds with fellow bird kias rather than participating in many fling relationships. (basically I intend on having a lot more mateships with other bird themed kias and they will most likely not be open for flings like my fish family.)

Kalaya exists to protect her tribe hidden from the evils and dangers of society, preserving their sense of freedom and balance. She is wary of strangers/foreign species but to be an ally of the bird tribe means to have a powerful warrior tribe at the ready. Fish and Bird kids are currently on trade friendly terms, which is a step up from strangers, but not yet allies.

Kalaya is a sweet and gentle soul with her bird tribe, but a fierce and tough warrior to anyone else. Soft spoken, yet is still a powerful presence that is respected and listened to by flock members.
