Kn-1282: Nieth

Found as a small child with no parents in sight she was taken in by a local priest and brought to the temple as an orphan. The priests of the temple raised her as one of their own. When the head priest caught wind of her - he had been traveling for some moons - he returned right away. She was exactly what he had been out searching for.

As she grew so did her beauty. She was exactly like a Goddess and that is what he, the head priest, told everyone she was. The Goddess they worshiped reincarnated. People came far and wide to give her offerings... Offerings she never saw a single cent of. The Temple florished.

She expressed many times she would no longer like to be a part of this scam and it was thrown in her face that she had nowhere to go. That no one would believe her. They were, after all, priests who were very well respected in the world.

Despite this scam, and her reluctance to follow along, Neith was slowly gaining memories back. Memories of a past life. Of multiple past lives. She was regaining things she had lost and was never meant to find out. As it turns out Neith was indeed a Goddess. What a twisted irony it was.

She was weak, powerless, so for now she bides her time. Waiting until the moment is right to live her own life.
