Kn-1042: Cirque

The son of Hades and Grimoire, Cirque grew up taking part in his father's circus of the macabre. From an early age he clicked with showing off unnatural dexterity- training his body to move in ways that would make the average person ...well, uncomfortable. The circus is his home as far as he's concerned- and the performers, family.

He looks to take over the circus from his parents one day, and he's more than ready for it. His best friends are his fellow performers.

Cirque is pretty self-isolating, preferring to stay by himself or his parents if he isn't actively performing or preparing for a performance. He isn't antisocial- simply likes being alone. He often becomes frustrating, especially with "Normal" people. Despite his issues relating to people, he does enjoy performing and likes the members of the circus itself. He views them as his big happy family and wouldn't have it any other way. 

Part of his disdain stems from overhearing people talk ill of those he cares about and calling them names for things they've either practiced to master or can't control. If he catches people talking like this, he'll quickly snap off at them. He's very protective of his family.

He comes across as morbid to most, as he's fascinated with things that would creep out a lot of people. He likes skulls and scary movies and the like, and it often turns people away from wanting to get to know him. Which, he's perfectly fine with. He didn't care for company anyway.

If you do take the time to get to know him, he's really just fascinated in things that aren't properly understood. He shares the scientific mind of his grandparents, and looks for answers in the darkness that many aren't willing to chase. He's brave, but also welcoming and warm, and extremely loyal to anyone who earns his trust.
