Was left a lone vagabond after his entire village was razed to the ground in a vicious blaze. Performed exorcisms and general Priest work to earn funds for food and board. Met his husband during his wanderings and was eventually converted to worship Him after a long, tumultuous journey together. His faith in Kami is what allowed the former Mortal to ascend to his position as Shinto God of Journeys.
Formerly worshipped a God that supposedly dwelled within the lake his village was built upon, only later discovering the God was actually caged within his body after being inherited upon the passing of his father. A bloodline cage for a demon that aspired for godhood and got too big and too greedy for the Wakahisa ancestors to ignore.
