Ka-3816: ✦ Durai

Even from a young age, Durai has been far more mature than others of the same age. Serious, responsible, and hard-working, he has always focused his time more on studying and learning rather than socializing. Better with books than with other Kiamaras, he can be quite blunt and often comes off as standoffish to those who don't know him well. Bad at reading emotions, he prefers to keep his nose in a book where he doesn't have to read emotions. Does like to help but finds he's more useful working on his own studying and research or improving the library's catologue and system than he is direction helping someone. Organized and meticulous, he often tries very hard to keep the library clean and not a book out of place unless presently being read or studied. His personal spaces are even more organized and meticulous, not a thing ever out of place. Very much a rule follower, he is also strict about keeping the rules of the library in check, making sure they are followed. Very unlikely to ever break a rule or law no matter where he is unless it may harm someone severely to keep it.

Durai is the youngest ever Kiamara to be chosen for the position of Head Librarian of the Grand Library of Ipica. A highly coveted potion by many in the kingdoms, it is a grand event when a new Head Librarian in appointed, it it often given to highly intelligent middle-aged Kiamaras. Durai is brilliant, far beyond his years, and was recognized in that he was given the role of Head Librarian as a newly fledged adult. It comes with a lot of power and responsibility, something Durai is still anxious about having. Slowly he is getting used to it, but he is still fairly young.
