Ka-2514: Maivah Ernaline - Death

She has been known by many names, all of which are valid ways to refer to her: Khaalida, Ernaline, Deianira, Carmilla, Sephtis (particularly when she's mistaken as masculine), Alva/Alvah, Mara...there are others too that she has forgotten. Her favourite variations at the moment being Maivah Ernaline, Maivah Deianira and Alva. She has a one sided crush/love for Hades tho he's not aware and she'd never admit it. She's not allowed to visit the underworld too long/too much tho so doesn't see him that often sadly (cause her presence scares the souls haha, tho her main job is guiding em and stuff just like, death as an existence is scary even tho they mostly know she's really nice its like an instinctual thing for the soul after passing on to be like oh shit o.o its death! Kinda like how standing on the edge of a cliff sets you on edge or like, looking into deep water /seeing/feeling a big something swim by you its just like a deep set instinct those with demigod blood I'd imagine are resistant, but even the gods sometimes feel uncomfy around her for long cause they know she can take them too) Cerberus/whatever the guard dog equivalent will be, loves her tho! And Hades is her friend at least ;o; She has a couple friends around the place but she's pretty lonely rip </3 In story has the power to have them create and manipulate swords (along with several other weapon types) Invisible to most both the kia and the swords (this is how she's chosen to have her death powers manifest, altho they can go out of control at times as well) to those that CAN see them, they appear like semi-translucent and in some places transparent (but can still see the light hit them its just hard to make them out at times) metal swords, almost like mercury in texture/how the light hits them, but are def more solid that that if one were to touch them (don't do that tho lol) and feel almost like thin ice (including the sensation of them slightly warping/melting upon being touched and your heat being taken away) if one were to touch them. When used on purpose tho they become like a warm gentle breeze to touch, so the soul doesnt even noticed being reaped. Story wise can see everyone's lifespans if they have one. Has felt bad for Mort from the start cause could see he lives a stupid long time/his lifespan is kinda fucked up also is just a really sorrowful + highly emotional being?? Just feels too much and gets frightened/intimidated pretty easily too despite being...y'know...Death incarnate x'D She's kinda used to seeing people's lifespans it to an extent/is busy just wandering the world and getting the souls to their right places on time/on a schedule and all that, so she tries to not look at randoms too much/avoid cities and things, but yeah it can really hit her. Esp if its a really young one and they've only got a few days etc she hates that the most Or when naturally born mortals become immortal/she can see it gets fucked up that is upsetting too because its not fair on them like demigods + stuff know what they're getting into, being cursed out of the blue isn't fair she just wants everyone to have reasonably long lives and to be happy ;n; I'm thinking if she breaks down/has a huge emotional outburst she can endanger others around her too, like quicken their deaths sorta thing? Like its usually an inactive ability but if she's super upset its like a passive ability the reason she has it is if a war has been drawn out for too long etc to end a war quickly kinda deal, or when populations are growing too large etc When she's super upset the other 3 apocalyptic babs are drawn to her? Death essentially needs to remain chill. And they legit can't turn off their powers kinda deal/its passive also cause multiverse and all there can be more than just 4 (this was when some other peeps owned the other ones and it'd been agreed upon between the owners at the time that they were all cool with multiples cause multiverse) "I can see death getting upset and the other three just, draw to her and shes like 'crap' and the entire area gets cursed for a few hours bc of their powers." Maybe they all want to protect her or something haha, tho she is actually the oldest lmao Not so much cursed per se I'm thinking just like everywhere they go people get ill, or the crops wither etc so normally they're like, isolated/confined/locked away I'm thinking cause unlike death they're not necessarily natural? I feel like it'd be longer than a few hours too cause like, normally plague and famine last longer than a day!! I feel like war may break out often tho lmao like the others due to death's wishes try and not do too much damage but war is just like BWAHAHAHA IMMA GO FIND THE GREATEST WARRIOR is super strong so breaks out of his confines Perhaps they even have like, their own section on like, the god's plane of existence kinda deal, and they stay in their section/are kept there kinda thing and they listen cause death wants them to be good but war is just an ass xD Death would like to live up with them (war, famine etc) too but she's not allowed to "'Hey Pesti, you really have behaived since the 1200s.....why are you leaving your area again?' Is friends with Mizu the main water god. Altho he doesn't really see it as such he's pretty annoyed by her presence a fair bit of the time but has to see her a lot cause yknow, oceans. like, when she's travelling to the bottom of the ocean and stuff to guide souls it somewhat freaks him out cause he can like feel that and it wigs him out a bit Death is just like "Fae I can take your lives if I feel like it, so BEHAVE" x'D Oh and pretty sure she has clin depression. :(
