Sunken City

Deep underwater, the Sunken city is a mystery only ever known by Solarians. Many stories circulate about what could be hidden in these underwater ruins. Monuments encased in shadows and pure mystery, floating lights creating and further aiding the mystery of what these ruins truly are and where exactly they come from. The area is encased in layers of hot ice, preventing anyone from getting too close to find out the truth. Within areas surrounding the Sunken City, some Solarians have found strange metals, figures and old cargo as well as trash that could be useless, while some can be considered strange artifacts. 

 There's a certain uneasiness and mystery that settles in the mind of those who think of these ruins. The most common theory is that these ruins are haunted by the ghosts of sailors who wander aimlessly as the floating lights that surround the ruins. Some people have speculated that the lights are actually the glowing eyes of a giant sea monster that made its forever home beneath the ice, biding its time before it attacks all those around it’s home. Those from Manabane believe the lights to be a remaining remnant of an intrusion ruin yet to be discovered. 

Stories pass through young and old about these ruins with quiet speculation full of fear and awe. Tales of monsters, ghosts, creatures beyond what we understand. 

The Ice protecting the ruins is able to both freeze and burn any of those who touch it, causing anyone who tries to get close to the monument. When brought out of water, however, the ice melts immediately. There's speculation that the ice must remain in the water in order to stay solid. Members in Manabane theorize that in order to fully break through, they’ll need to pull the ice rather than dive towards it. The idea has been solidified, however, not enforced just yet. To this day the ruins and the ice that protects it remains untouched.
