Blightfall is mostly dark and gloomy. Walking into the land you can easily sense a pang of complete and utter unease fill your consciousness, with the sky looking gloomy and dark with the background of a gothic church looming above you like a beacon. The grounds surrounding the area are infertile and dry, causing no crops to be able to ever grow in the soil. Fresh water is practically non-existent as well, preventing the chance of wildlife to fully prosper here. 

Many monuments surround the church alongside various housing for the inhabitants that live there, the housing the only real sign of life in this perpetual wasteland. 

The inhabitants of Blightfall includes two groups of religious faith. The first one being Inturology, the belief and faith of the Inturous being the gods of this world, rather than Hyjal and Tumult. And the second faith being the Hyjalan Order, who believe in the gods being Hyjal and Tumult. These two religious groups simultaneously inhabit this area and support each other the best they can, in trying to get needs and goods imported to the town, and to also accept each other’s differences in faith. 

Despite the utter unease you may feel when entering the village initially, it should be noted that the inhabitants here flourish and live contently within their means regardless of the atmosphere, Blightfall being quite enjoyed by the Kias and Dromas who reside there.
