Wrathion Woodlands

A dense and sinister forest filled with secrets and danger. Wrathion Woodlands, though a spiritual successor to the Cerulean Forest, are far more dangerous to traverse through alone. Dark trees towering above and interwinding roots and branches make the forest far too difficult for the average traveler, that's to say, if there was a traveler brave enough to do so in the first place. It’s not recommended for anyone to enter the woods due to the dangerous nature of the creatures residing within. 

The forest’s leaves are an unnatural color, giving the forest an almost uneasy aura. Deep within the darkest parts of the woods contain creatures known as vital beasts. These Creatures drain energy around them constantly until nothing remains like living black holes. The vital beasts are extremely dangerous, and live in the heart of the forest where light is consumed by them on a daily basis.  Because of the deadly nature of the Vital beasts, many hunters live on the outskirts of Verulia to help keep these creatures contained, and keep the general population around the surrounding areas safe. 

Deep within the Wrathian woodlands and surrounded by these beasts is a inturosian monument buried deep within the roots intertwined with the woods underground. The entrance to this monument is located north-west of the continent. No one knows what's inside these ruins because of the beasts surrounding them making the trip almost impossible. Maybe another set of ruins may hold the answers to bypassing the beasts safely.
