Newport is without question the most important town in all of Solaria. With most of the towns and villages on the continent being accessible by water, the Newport Shipping Co. can ship their goods out to almost anywhere with relative ease. Thousands of Credits worth of goods are imported and exported via Newport on a daily basis, serving as the trade hub of the continent. Originally founded by the Royals of Pandrea, it was intended to be their personal hub to import shipments via the City docks but was later expanded to include trade routes for all towns and villages. 

The docks are currently under the running of Dockmaster Kenwood, who ensures the ships are leaving on time, with the correct goods, and ensures the stock is protected from thieves and pirates when it goes on its journey. Notable challenges in recent times have meant the population of Solaria has soared, meaning more stock is being imported and exported through the ports, and Kenwood finds himself over-encumbered with work.
